This kiln dried oak has a very low moisture content and will burn very cleanly giving off lots of heat. Oak burns longer than other hardwoods, reducing the amount of times you reload the fire and helping with over-nighting the fire when the air is turned down. 

Oak can be difficult to light and we would not recommend it for smaller log burners (where you can fit 2 or 3 logs in the burner) and we would recommend combining it with a faster burning wood, especially when lighting the fire. 

Our logs are cut to approximately 23- 25cm and are 7.5-12.5cm in diameter. 

Our firewood is delivered in 80x80x80cm bulk bags that contain approximately 0,75 cubic meter of loose-filled logs as the bags stretch during loading. Our bags are filled and shaken and topped up before delivery. You are entitled to expect value for money and that means a well-filled bag.
